Birth Preparation Class
with partner

In this class you will receive all important information about pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and the postpartum period. The main goal of the course is to provide information on birth phases, birth mechanics, strategies for decision making, pain management, and an overview of the most common interventions during birth. Furthermore we show you different birthing positions, massages breathing techniques and talk about breastfeeding. We invite you to reflect on yourself and partnership regarding birth and post partum period. There will also be time to answer your personal questions.

The class is covered by the German health insurance for the pregnant person.

The partner fee is 140€ and not covered by the german health insurance - that said you may be able to claim a refund from your health insurance (check with your insurance if/how much of the partner fee they pay; many insurances reimburse the partner fee in large parts, you have to take care of the reimbursement yourself).

I'm not a native English speaker so the class will be in basic English (B2). Designed from not native speaker for not native speaker.

Most participants are expecting their first child, so the course is designed to address these questions. If you already have children, you can still participate in the course, some things you will probably already know, some things will be new to you.
